SELCO & NESN Scholarship
Shrewsbury High School Seniors are encouraged to apply for one of three $1,000 scholarships being made available by SELCO and New England Sports Network (NESN).
Each year SELCO and NESN give three $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors from Shrewsbury. These scholarships are awarded based on community involvement, good citizenship, volunteer work inside and outside of school, a recommendation from an advisor or guidance counselor, financial need, and a statement of character, personal goals and aspirations.
All applications are due by 4:30 PM on Monday March 10, 2025. Late applications will not be accepted. Online applications are preferred, or you can download a printable application here.
Additional information is required to accompany this application and must be received by the deadline:
- Personal Essay : Attach a personal essay between 250-500 words telling us who you are. If you are applying for the Town of Shrewsbury Scholarship, you may use the same response.
- Letter of Recommendation : This should come from an advisor, guidance counselor, or teacher and focus on how you have worked up to your potential. Letters of recommendation may be sent directly from your advisor/teacher/guidance counselor by email to Valerie Clemmey, Communications Coordinator at vclemmey@shrewsburyma.gov.
