Robert F. Lutz Award for Customer Service

Each December, SELCO recognizes an employee demonstrating consistently high levels of customer service by giving the Robert F. Lutz Award for Excellence in Customer Service.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ROBIN PATEL 2025 LUTZ AWARD RECIPIENT!

We are thrilled to announce that Robin Patel, Utility Software Coordinator, been honored with the 2025 Robert F. Lutz Excellence in Customer Service Award! Robin Patel has been a valued member of the SELCO team for nearly 19 years. In 2021, she transitioned from Customer Care Supervisor to Utility Software Coordinator, a role in which her expertise has proven invaluable. Robin played a critical role in SELCO’s company-wide software migration in 2023 and continues to serve as the go-to resource for a wide range of system-related questions.

She is frequently called into meetings outside the scope of her formal responsibilities because of her deep knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and willingness to help wherever needed. A true team player, Robin is an essential asset to SELCO, and her contributions truly keep operations connected and moving forward.

About the Lutz Award

Established in 2015 to honor the legacy of Robert (Bob) F. Lutz, this award recognizes outstanding customer service. Bob, a 40-year Municipal Light Commissioner for SELCO, valued positivity and exceptional service. The award is presented annually to an employee who exemplifies these qualities in serving either external SELCO customers or internal colleagues.
